Hi everybody !!

I've been often asked to show some pics from parisian zoos as I'm moving in Paris .. So I decided to post not only these ones but also all the zoos I visited in France, as I think I'm the only french member on ZooTek

I'll begin with Champrepus Zoo, situated in Normandy. I used to visit it every summer when I was young, it was one of my favourites activities during summer holidays and I waited for it each year ^^ It's a small but very beautiful zoo, surrounded by the norman countryside, and it's also an exotic garden. I

It is built from both sides of a road, so you have to cross it with a footbridge to visit the two parts of the zoo :

From the bridge, you can admire the gardens :

The first area presents some farm and domestic animals, in a free space where you can touch and discover the animals (as they are non-dangerous ones) :

Some lovely baby goats

Some old species of ducks, gooses, turkeys and donkeys :

Lovely!    The pink flower there is Joe Pye Weed, although I'm sure it is called something different there.

Well, I think the french name is eupatoire, it seems this plant comes from eastern America ^^

After the aviary, we can admire some majestic big cats : Bengal tigers ..
