(Trustee)genkicoll Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Calculation of the Park Rating - Animal Happiness = 25% of the Park Rating The exact number is arrived by calculating average animal happiness and multiplying it by 25% - Animal Health = 15% of the Park Rating When all the animals are healthy you get a 15 point bonus, if half are sick you'd get 7.5 - Species Diversity = 10% of the Park Rating There are 44 animals species, so if you have all the animals you would get the max of 10 points - Zoo Beauty = 10% of the Park Rating Calculating zoo aesthetic value is a complex process. There is no further information available on this! - Zoo Value = 10% of the Park Rating The cash you have on hand and the value (sale price) of everything in your zoo is counted and divided by 300. - Zoo Research = 5% of the Park Rating If you have everything researched you get the full 5 points - Guest Happiness = 25% of the Park Rating Total number of individual guest happiness divided by the number of guests. Consequently an average guest happiness of 50% will result in a 12.5 increase in zoo rating while an average happiness of 80% gives you a 20% increase.

Guest njbums Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I am pretty sure only 27 of the 30 awards are actually attainable. I know for a fact you can not achieve the following two awards: Outstanding Animal Health Plaque Awarded for having less than 3 sick animals in your zoo at the end of the first year. Reward: None Tyrannosaurus rex egg - Gold Rex Awarded for having a T. rex egg laid in your zoo. Reward: $100,000 I have tried numerous times to achieve all 30 awards in single zoo, and I know you can't get the above two, and I think there is one more that's not attainable, but I can't recall which one it is.
Guest zoomeister Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Actually, njbums, you could attain the first one easily...... have less than three animals in your zoo by the end of the first year...... LoL. Won't do your zoo rating or your guest happiness any good, but then you could still get the award...... hehehe. As for the last one, I am not sure if that was ever awarded when I got my T-Rex's to breed or not. I was so excited to get them to reproduce that I wasn't watching for the award!!
KTesch Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I haven't gotten that far yet, but I've seen award screens and stuff regarding the Breeding the T-Rex. But, I don't think you get it all the time?? You'd have to go over to ZTU (Zoo Tycoon Unleashed, not Unlimited), and type in Awards and Information or something like that or just awards. There is a NOTE regarding that topic. Kim
(Admin)Savannahjan Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I believe the Outstanding Animal Health Plaque requires that during the entire year, you cannot have 3 animals to even get sick. I have never gotten this one either, but just thinking about it, there probably would be a way to foil the award. You could buy your animals and only keep them until their happiness is at 100%, then sell them. Wait a while and buy some more animals and do the same thing. You could probably get away with selling them all before they had a chance to get sick. And in December of year one, buy new animals again. You might just get away with it....just a thought.
pukkie Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Well in that case isn't it possible to build your zoo and the buy the animals in the last week just a few it is unlikely then they will get sick before the end of the year I think I'll try it my self once I can start rebuilding the zoo for all my friends

IcePengwyn Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 For the "Missing Awards", I have read that they are in the coding, but are not available in the game. There is a hack that will fix the Health Award, possibly others. Not sure what site though - ZA? That's what I read. Not reponsible for spreading rumors. Much.
