VNDragonV2 started following Zoo Admin files
- Last week

That is good to know indeed Thank you so much Fern
-
Cheers! Looking forward to see your own flooded forests.
-
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. I knew I was missing a step; it's been almost two decades since I used to make animals with APE and edit the (I think?) UCA's, just couldn't remember the exact process for getting into the files I want to manipulate. Off I go to make some glorious flooded forests!

Read the ReadMe in the pack. To install, extract the scn999PixiggersWorld.ztd file to the dlupdate folder, if you have it, or to the Updates folder in the main Zoo Tycoon folder, and the PixiggersWorld.zoo file to the maps folder in the main Zoo Tycoon folder. Start the game, play a scenario/tutorial game and the game will appear at the bottom of the list. You should note that the scenario will be unavailable until all previous scenarios have been completed.
-
of course I better get this then lol Just did.... and this goes into the dlupdate or the main folder ?
-
Oh that sounds so exciting I love to get them Hope the testing goes well Bless him for running them so we get flawless material
-
There are more coming but Jay is checking they work properly. One pack has abut 30 scenarios in it. They were made before MM and CC. I remember doing these 20 years ago and they were a lot of fun.
-
You need the dll and the things in the pixigger zip for it to work. Just like buildings where you need a dll as well as the files.
-
If I would use the combined file from the other thread do I still need this or do I need the other file for this file to work?
-
So If I understand correctly If I put this in the mainfolder there are more scenario's to play? I would surely love that as I finished all the game ones
-
Alright thank you ~
-
It is addressed here. The contents I tested are finished and awaiting release whenever that might be.
-
May I ask where to find those giant water lilies in the Amazon basin?

Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection
HeatherL reviewed Savannahjan's file in Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection

Thank you for the compliment. Perhaps you are trying to open config.ztd with a text editor? .ztd are .zip files - a file format to compress and archive files. You need to unpack the .zip first using Windows Explorer or one of the archive utility programs like Winzip, Winrar, or 7zip, etc. Once you are in, extract tanks.cfg to make your own edits and then place your modified tanks.cfg in the dlupdate folder.

We have a dedicated thread for you to request any particular download that has not been rehosted yet:

Go to ZooBerry. Eric was given all the ZA ZT2 files to host there. There are some of us that do have all the files

I know I've asked this before but I looked at the archive of the Zoo Admin Website and I counted the mods of Zoo Tycoon 2 and there are around 455 files that I can't download. Has anybody saved them all? I want to know if I can download them again.
-
If you have any files that you want loaded first just ask. If they do not need updating we will release them. Most of the early buildings are getting updated if they have not been already.
-
Thanks to Tek's help, you can find all of ZA's ZT2 mods at ZooBerry: https://www.zooberry.org/archives/zooadmin/ Tek will be covering the ZT1 side of things.
-
That’s good to know. I love to see the mods of both Zoo Tycoons 1 and 2 again.
-
Before Yellowrose passed, she asked that the ZA files be hosted here at Tek. We migrated to a larger server so we have the space for this. Fern and Jay have every file that was hosted at ZA. They are fixing the files and scenarios that need fixed. Once fixed, Fern and Jan and I will make sure they are all uploaded here.
-
I feel a bit bummed that Zoo Admin shuts down. I got to ask this, what's gonna happen to all the files there? Are they saved and if so, where will they go?
-
This is some of my favorite ZT work I've come across in 20 years of playing; simply excellent and exactly the kind of thing I've always wanted to do and never been able to pull off. I made a list of regions I'd like to make very specific zoos for (local flora and fauna only) and Amazonas, Mekong, and Everglades are all on there, amongst others like the Orinoco, Okavango, Ganges, and Nile Deltas. So cool to see someone take a similar approach, and now I'm over here assembling my tankable species list since I'd limited myself to terrestrial-only since diving back into mods and being slightly overwhelmed with how many fascinating animals you all have made available. The link to the Tank Editor isn't working for me or I'd use it, but I read through your breakdown of how to change the tank terrain via the config file but I'm still a little lost on how to access it. It's the one from XPACK2, right? Haven't been able to open in any of my text editors. Am I missing a step?
