Description : This Workbench is dedicated to my friend Dr Rick...He has been my Hero for a long time. By his example, I have learned nothing is impossible if you try!
This Workbench is based on the Congo section of the Bronx Zoo, in New York. The original zoo has habitats for the Mandrill, Chimpanzee, Okapi, Gorilla, and Red River Hogs. The workbench has designed displays of the above, except for the Red River Hogs. There are several sunken areas where habitats can be built...They can be raised if the builder chooses...in the original zoo, from what I've seen the habitats vary in height. There is a sky ride for the guests to enjoy. It goes over part of the river system and through the rainforest. There is a wooden bridge that travels across similar areas. The wooden bridge, as built, will not carry guests...but if the builder wishes...a few minor changes will allow it to be a functional bridge.

Galapagos Islands Workbench by Caddienoah

The workbench consists of a large open area of ocean. There are several islands around the edge of the workbench. I used some artistic license in creating the islands. The entrance to the workbench is attached to an airport, which appears on one of the central Galapagos Islands. I thank Dr Rick for taking time out of his life to do the foliage of the Galapagos Islands. The Foliage Pack was the inspiration for this workbench.
When opened, the time starts at Jan 1 Year 1.

The Medium Mega-Tank Workbench by Caddienoah

This workbench is dedicated to all ZT players who love the sea and its creatures. This workbench contains one large salt water tank surrounded by pathways, connecting several islands together. The workbench starts at Jan 1 of Year 1.
There are no extra files needed before using the workbench. There are many possible files from both Zoo Tek Phoenix and Designers Guild that can be used to add other corals, plant life and other animals.
There are some things that should be known about a tank this big. The items being added to the tank or deleted from the tank may, for some, take longer than usual, due to the size of the tank. The game has to work harder to follow commands. Due to the setup of the game, the tank has only one entrance/exit and only needs one tank filter. It can hold many small animals, or a smaller amount of large animals. When I was designing and testing the workbench, I had 12 whale sharks, and in the mixed tank four animals, of four different species. With mixed tanks the water gets dirty quicker, so I had about 10 -12 maintenance people, so one is never far away when the tank filter breaks down, and to cover trash needs throughout the zoo. I also had at least 8 to 10 Marine Biologists assigned to the tank. It never failed that there would be 4 or 5 animals needing the help of one of them. I kept each species in a mixed tank all of the same sex...no babies...less animals to watch for in tank...and less problems between them.

Central Park Workbench by Caddienoah

This workbench is my interpretation of the Central portion of Central Park. I have taken certain liberties in the design...people of New York please forgive...It is very hard to scale down the beauty of such a place...I hope my attempt meets with acceptance. I have included many of the Park's famous landmarks. The Tavern on the Green, Strawberry Fields and the sculpture to John Lennon, the Stage, boat rides on the lake, to name a few.
I must give very special thanks to Dr Rick...He was able to reproduce the "Imagine" sculpture, in the Strawberry Hills area...I am deep in his debt! This is not the first time he has put aside his own work to help another in their need!
The workbench consists of several open and wooded terrains. There are several areas of water. There is near the center of the w/bench a set of tunnel walkways...similar to walkways in that area of Central Park. The Central Park Zoo is missing...so that the builder can build their own.

First place in the 2003 Individuals Halloween Contest.
Very non-traditional but suitably scary. Like something out of a bad horror movie, this zoo is very natural-looking and full of creepy critters. I would actually be afraid to enter this zoo. Be sure to delete the walls blocking guests at the courtyard if you want them to be able to access the entire zoo.
So, Cher, you axe de way to Flat Top Road....wat you wanna be gwine dat way fo? Tis no good, das! You wanna stay vivante? Dat road lead to de bayou an daint noting but bad dare.
