Whooping crane research in-game?

I don't ever recall seeing an in-game message saying "Reasearch & conservation: Whooping Crane is now available." I have not added a whopping user dl. And it is not available in the menu.

 

I did add the zkl pooka animal.

There are red pandas besides the Chinese Lesser Panda, although some red pandas are just panda recolors and not actually red pandas. In any case, there are 4 things that used the same research ID, which is assigned to "Whooping Crane" in langZA01.dll:

chinese lesser panda.ztd (which is an RSN animal)
redpandaucamodified.ZTD
whoopingcrane-update.ZTD/whoopingcrane.ZTD/whoopingcrane2.ZTD
Quivaz Arctic House.ztd

There were multiple versions of that red panda and that whooping crane, but I am not sure about the other 2. I do not know if the most recent versions fix the research problem. I also do not know if having ZT research was intentional for all of these or a mistake. Being that ZT research is in them, I do not bother with them, since any user made research is a hack and I avoid those types of hacks, since conflicts are common. redpandaucamodified.ZTD also uses the same APE ID as "Snow goat_rev.ztd", and "Snow goat_rev.ztd" was created first.

Zooey and I did create a version of the whooping crane that is researchable. I believe that it can still be downloaded from ZooAdmin.

 

The text has been included in the combined dl files. This means that the text will show up, since you do not need the small dl file for the download.
