taysha Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Hi all. My kids are finally old enough to enjoy this game. But they share a PC, which is set up with a profile for each kids and a parents profile. Obviously to be able to lock down the bad stuff out there online. But I can't figure out how to install ZT2 so that it runs for both kids. I can get it to work on the parents profile but that sort of negates the whole idea of having separate profiles. Does anyone know how to do this?
ARIZNANA Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 WHICH WINDOWS ARE YOU USING . WIN 7 , 8 OR 8.1 SO YOU ARE SAYING, YOU CAN PLAY WHEN YOU TURN ON THE COMPUTER ? IN THE (ORIGINAL PROFILE) BUT IF YOU GO TO A CHILDS PROFILE , THE GAME DOES NOT SHOW UP ? HAVE YOU TRIED ASSIGNING THE GAME APP ( ICON ) TO EACH PROFILE ? SOME GAMES DO NOT ALLOW MORE THAN ONE PROFILE . SO YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO TRY IT TO SEE IF IT WORKS .
taysha Posted June 7, 2015 Author Posted June 7, 2015 Thanks for replying. I am on Windows 7. Yes it runs fine on the parent profile which I used to install it. How do I assign the game app to the other profiles?
ARIZNANA Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 THERE SHOULD BE A PLACE IN THE NEW "CHILD" PROFILE WHERE YOU CAN ADD A GAME APP ( ICON ) TO THEIR SELECTIONS . I WILL GO LOOK AGAIN AND LET YOU KNOW OK , I DID SOME CHECKING AND ACCORDING TO PCWORLD . YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO PICK OR BLOCK GAMES ON YOUR COMPUTER WHEN YOU SET UP THE PROFILE . THE SAME WAY YOU CAN BLOCK CERTAIN WEBSITES , YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO BLOCK OR GIVE PERMISSION FOR GAMES ON YOUR COMPUTER . EACH CHILD WOULD HAVE THEIR OWN DESKTOP AND SIGN IN AND PASSWORD .
