Mowgli’s Jungle

 

Trying to find all my Essential files and testing a few techniques, ended up making another zoo. ;)

 

I wanted it to be as if the guests were walking through an actual jungle, so buildings and other man made items are as hidden as possible while still being able to see flowers here and there.

 

The central waterfall was a test to see if inserting a fountain inside the mountain would produce waterfall sounds, which it does, but it should be lowered much further, which is good to know. :)

 

The 7 animals are from Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book:

Shere Khan, the tyrant tiger.

The Bandarlog, apes in the ruins who kidnapped Mowgli.

Akela, and the pack of wolves that raised Mowgli.

Kaa, the chaotic neutral python.

Baloo, the bear who taught Mowgli.

Hathi, the leader of the elephant family.

Bagheera, the panther that protected Mowgli.

 

Although it is a jungle, I had to utilize 3 non jungle animals, the Black Bear, Gray Wolf, and the UCI Green Rat Snake, so there are deciduous, coniferous and desert exhibits in the jungle.

 

The zip contains the zoo, all the UCIs that were in my dlupdates folder when I built it (although I didn’t use them all), the screens I took, and this note.

Very nice but there is a hack that makes it so that animals are happy with any exhibit they get, so you can move those animals to jungle.

The theme kinda grew out of the testing, Im still compiling everything I want for the Isle and needed to see if my ideas were feasible.

I do like the hidden buildings, but I think they need to be spaced farther apart so it doesnt look like the whole map is just covered with trees.
