The updates folder has around 55 .ztd files in it if I remember correctly. That means that you always try to have less than 295 .ztd files in you dlupdates. As VNDragonV2 suggested, you really don't want to add to the updates folder just for safety sake.

It is recommended that you specify a version you have seen somewhere or if it is something that you would like to have but not sure if anyone has made it. For example, while And1's mastodon was shared to you earlier, DM/Hendrix also imported the ZT2 American mastodon to the game a few years ago. In this case, since you did not specify the version, the most convenient ones I can think of are from Borsato's Mega Mammals pack. You can check his project thread for images, while the download is currently available through a collection hosted by another member here , as his MZ shared link has long expired. His mods will eventually be rehosted properly on ZooBerry.
