The gazelle has an error that needs fixing for non US players so I have moved it up the queue.

The snake is by Aqua Dragon and I will run the checker on it to see what might need doing.

Interesting about the error for non-US players on the Gazelle, I know errors like that are common but I thought ZTU-Belgium content would be more likely to avoid that. Sometimes it's interesting to find out what errors are present. I know a lot of those early downloads had quirks - I remember being confused about the ZTU Amur Leopard being in North America at the time I downloaded it in 2002. I believe you or Jay fixed that one already. Thank you for clarifying about Aqua Dragon, I know I used a number of their downloads back in the day but also some by a user named Black Dragon.

Not really since they were an early site and did not know about the language default problem. Every country has its own number. ZT used an English default of LCID 1033. A number I am sure you recognise when designing. But APE would chose the setting of the country the file was being made in. German is 1031.  England 2057. Australia 3081. Since Jane used to play a non english version of the game anything that was not 1033 would crash her game. Mine comes up as 5129 so I always have to change them.

Does anyone happen to have .ztd's of these 2 animals?

 

- Melanistic Zebra (Got an "animal" folder with different commands when extracting the one I downloaded)
- Bush Pig (part of the "pig pack") 

 

Bush pig was giving me this error when extracting

Rename the zebra file from .zip to .ztd and see if that works ingame for you. It also has a LCID error which won't affect your game providing you are playing an English language version.

The pig pack has multiple problems and needs fixing before rereleasing it.

Thank you, Fern. Doing this for the zebra did the trick. Do you know when the pig pack might be fixed by chance?

 

Edit: I just looked up the african red hog, which I have. It appears it's the same as the bush pig.

No idea since Jay and I are the only ones doing them and there are a lot of ZA files that need fixing.

Most of the animals are recolours, or the same colours but new habitat requirements.
