(Admin)Savannahjan Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 The Cromer Zoo is coming along very nicely. The blackbuck exhibit is laid out really well. Paul, in your flamingo exhibit, so you use the Jordan Superhack or Swimming staff hack? With the island in the middle, which looks really good by the way, the birds will pooh there and without the hacks the staff cannot get there to rake it up. Or do you bulldoze it yourself?
(Admin)Savannahjan Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Paul, could you please start a thread in the Virtual Zoo Tours forum for the Cromer Zoo? I would love to hear a report of what you saw on your tour, and how the zoobuilding is progressing.
(Professor Emeritus)Professor Paul Posted April 28, 2007 Author Posted April 28, 2007 I marooned a keeper on the island. It's Saturday 923 AM,while waiting for the lazy pair to get up so I can get the weekly shopping done I did some more building. Here are the warthogs.
(Professor Emeritus)Professor Paul Posted April 28, 2007 Author Posted April 28, 2007 And Ankylosaurs
(Professor Emeritus)Professor Paul Posted April 28, 2007 Author Posted April 28, 2007 And a few scenic shots.I like to seperate the various sections using screens of trees,& either position statues or arches at the entrances.
pukkie Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Absolutely great screenshots Professor Paul and I was doing just the same this morning for just the same reasons lol  I especially like the overvieuw screenshot. Your zoo looks great!
(Admin)Cricket Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 You said you maroned a zookeeper on your island? You could use the swimming staff hack, and he/she could swim back to the exhibit gate. It's a wonderful thing! Paul, I'm enjoying your zoo! Keep those screenies coming! :vishenka_34:
(Admin)Savannahjan Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 The zoo is really looking good Paul. The blending of the terrain types looks very natural and I really like the way the exhibits are not overdone with foliage. I have a tendency to fill the squares to up the suitability, but it does look much more natural and not as cluttered with just a few pieces strategically placed. The entry way between sections is very nice, I really like the way the areas are separated. Paul, I'm glad to see you playing ZT again.
