This may have come up before... Dumb guests congregating behind a solid wall of a tank and trapped between the tank and an exhibit, which is where I had trapped a marine keeper. When freed some of adult male guests ran screaming from the space and are still running through the zoo. Nothing is chasing them. I didn't check out their thoughts at first but now their thoughts are blank. Some of the other guests thought are fussing about being in the water and I do not know how they got there. The girls and women are exiting in a a calm, orderly process.

I am wondering if the guests ended up in the tank as overflow from the underwater restaurant? There were no problems earlier. I double checked that the correct length door was on the tank (4 spaces) which would put them into the dome in the tank. I assumed they would be allowed to leave through the same door.

Gosh, you didn't intend on making a water park? I've never seen that one before. But of course, leave it to the men to act up!

Have you rotated your zoo and looked at the restaurant setup from all angles as tank views can be deceptive. Or you could drain the tank and look that way. Or just allow one hungry person to enter and watch what happens to them.

Ahhhh. Just reread what you have done. You do not want guests to go to the dome. Buildings are an illusion in that guests NEVER actually enter them. They vanish at the entrance and reappear after the set time at the exit. Now the entrances are one way, so they do nor come out where they went in. So for the entrance you are using they would exit (and this is where I get muddled) onto either the 4th or 5th tile in a straight line across from the entrance. That tile would need not to be in water.

Play with them on land and work out what length of tunnel you need before and after the restaurant dome which I think (from memory) is two tiles wide which needs to be included in the entrance tally.

Hope I have not confused you more but I haven't used these for years. I thought there was a tutorial around. I will go and look and see if there is anything here or in my archives.

Okay. My set up would not have worked because the tank was set into a cliff. To make it work I would have to alter the stairs so guests exit out the side at a 90deg angle and using a 9-space door.

I may try that.

Thanks!
