Fern Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 From Jay Where in the uca file do I change the minimal deepth required for an animal to be happy? The settings are in the [m/Characteristics/Integers] section. If a ZT marine animal is used as a base in APExp 3.2, there will be depth settings already. cDepthMin says the minimum depth required by the animal. cDepthMax is always set to 29. cDepthChange is usually set to -10. cDepth is set to 1, 2, or 3. I believe cDepth says how close the animal will get to the bottom of the tank. Most marine animals use cDepth of 2. Marine animals that are not tall use cDepth of 1, which are the manta ray, moray eel, sea turtle, tuna, sea otter, and sawfish. Large marine animals use cDepth of 3, which are the humpback whale, orca, sperm whale, and bowhead whale. How does [cHabitatSize] works for marine animals? cHabitatSize is always set to 100, even for marine animals.
