ZooTycoon2 Animal Images

I don't have ZooTycoon2, but I like the animals from it that people make. I was wondering if it was possible to get the images from the animals without having the actual game. I only have APE version 3.0 so I didn't know if the animals would show up in this program. Is this possible? I was wondering so I may possibly make new .gif images from them to use as smileys.

I've extracted some animal images for ZT1, but it's a long process to get the angle just right for all 4 views, and the only way I've been able to get the images is by going in the game and taking the images manually.
