In this scenario, you need to make a lot of money fast, at least that's what I've been reading. I'd like to know what kind of profitable attractions to use,how many and what kind of concessions to use and/or if I should use a combination of two or more Restaurants and a food court or two and what prices I should charge for everything. Also, I haven't checked what the starting money is, but I was also wondering if I needed to mess with the Admission price (raise or lower it).

the answer to your "what's profitable" question is the same as it's always been. use restaurants in scenarios - they are far more profitable than food courts. the best money making attractions are the carousel & animal theater. a gift shop would be a nice addition

As far as prices go always double the default prices for everything in the zoo.

~can't say i've ever heard that one before.

I usually leave everything alone except for admission, which i raise to $29 to start with (guests can't tell the difference between $22 & $29) & sometimes i raise it to $100 if i'm near the end of a scenario & i need guest happiness to go up a bit.

What about Zookeepers? I've read that three can manage, but you should preferably have five. I find it hard to believe that only three zookeepers can take care of ten exhibts. I can't remember though what the most zookeepers to exhibits ratio I've had is though.

Kim 1 zookeeper can easilly handle 2 exhibits. They can even handle 3 if there are not too many animals in them.

Lam, it's true, try it out sometime. For example the Animal theater. When you plop it down the price is set at $6.00. You can charge $12.00 and the guests will pay it. I usually charge $11.50 and have no guest complaints. Also the Carousel is set at $5.00 by default. You can raise it to $9.75 without complaint. Restaurants can be maxed out at $22.00 ! I have not explored the food and drink stands to see what they will bear because I don't use them but I would believe that the same rule of thumb would apply.

Lam,

Remember the link you posted for me in post No.2 for the Walkthrough at ZTUF for this Scenario? well, the first time they hired a zookeeper, they asigned the first three exhibts to him/her, but the rest of the Walkthrough doesn't mention how many of the other exhibits were assigned to the other two zookeepers. At least if I'm reading it right, it sounds like three zookeepers. Maybe it is four or five. It says to make sure you have a good balance between the zookeepers and the exhibits and since there are only two animals to an exhibit except for the Lions who like three in their exhibt so that they have something to do and also don't have far to walk. Maybe I should just play it safe and hire five. What does everyone else think?

it all depends on your layout & what animals you use. i've had some where i've assigned 1 keeper for every 4 exhibits & it's worked fine. usually, tho', i just have each keeper assigned to 2 exhibits. if it's at the beginning of the scenario & money is tight, i have them cover more. once i have good cash flow i loosen things up a bit

Lam is right I usually start with giving a zookeeper 3 exhibits and add not to much animals in it for the more animals the more poo.

The more poo, the longer it takes to clean up. When I hire a second zookeeper I assign him/her to the third exhibit of the first zookeeper as well and build 2 more for that zookeeper to work in That 2 two zookeepers work 5 exhibits and then when things are looking up and I make more money I loosen things a bit.
