(Trustee)Ghirin Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Hi all. For the past week or so, I've been mesmerized by flying birds. :D Here are a few of them: the Northern Cardinal, blue jay, and cedar waxwing. They are 100% compatible with each other for mixed exhibits.
(Trustee)ZooGrammy Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 How beautiful! They will be just wonderful to have in the game.
(Trustee)Brandi Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 yay birds! One of the main things that was wrong with the game.
Ruud Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 The birds are beautifull, I missed that in ZT 1. Good work.
Micandra Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Hurry, hurry hurry. (not to rush you) I doing a bird themed zoo. I need more birds. Bwahahaha.
(Admin)Savannahjan Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Ghirin, I am so thrilled to see you made a cedar waxwing, it is my favorite bird. We only see them occasionally as they migrate through, but there is nothing so beautiful. :032: Thanks so much! :cheerlie:
(Trustee)ZooGrammy Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Will these be available soon?
(Professor Emeritus)Professor Paul Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Ghirin, could you post the basic screenshots of the flying birds? I'm sure some could be used for parakeets of various types.
(Trustee)Ghirin Posted January 8, 2007 Author Posted January 8, 2007 I'm starting to release the new birds this week. As per request, I'm posting APE screenshots of the flying birds. I'm also working on a tutorial on using the animations to make new animals. The basic method is based on the DD extraction tutorial from Zoo Keeper's Lounge. First is the bird, also known as the hawk. They have the same ID number.
