An interesting factoid...though now found only in Asia, the fossil record reveals the saiga antelope was once found in North America as well.

And1, would you be interested in making some turkeys for Thanksgiving? There are two species, the wild turkey north of the Rio Grande (common in scrublands and forests) and the ocellated turkey of the tropics in Latin America. A domestic Broad-breasted white turkey would also be neat for Christmas. I was thinking of you since someone commented there is no appropriate model in the game, and you did such a good job with birds in the Madagascar pack.

Also, since you like extinct birds so much, I though you might be interested in a Hawaii bird pack, since most of Hawaii's native birds are beautiful, unique looking, and extinct, although the state bird the Hawaiian goose "nene" is still alive, though endangered, and featured in zoos.

I really like the saiga. However, your Wiki article uou quote is wrong in its list of zoos that have them, it doesnt include the Dallas Zoo in Texas, which breeds saiga. I think all the animals are great you make whether they are mainland or island, I was just calling you King of the Islands bc up until now the ZT games have included so few of the extinct island species, and your Madagascar/Mauritian and Galapagos packs were so impressive, not to mention your upcoming Australia animals. Your mainland animals are cool too, I really love the gaur, which is one of my fav animals.

Not surprising really, some authorities group the Palaearctic & Nearctic regions as one, the Holartic (for those who dont know,Nearctic is the N American region, Palearctic is Asia & Europe).

@Hobbitpostman

Sorry i saw your last post to late but i think i can make the turkeys for you. I know the Hawai Island had some very beautiful birds endemic which now are extinct but i planed to do some like the Moa- Nalo. Thank you for the information with Dellas i hadn't know this before. Thanks, i have also planed more mainland animals to do. But i think in the game there are not so much Island animals and there are often where interesting animals.

I have finished the next animal. The Irrawaddy Dolphin. I hope you like it.
