Trash Trouble

I am having trash trouble. Last night, I uninstalled my ZT2 game, with all the expansion packs, then reinstalled the game with expansions. I restarted my computer after successfully reinstalling everything. I then downloaded various animals and objects from a couple of different websites. After doing all this, I started playing the Endangered Species Campaign with the Baird's tapirs. This is when I discovered that my guests did not want to use the trash cans and only threw their trash on the ground. I then purchased more trash cans and hired even more maintenance workers but nothing seemed to make the guests want to use the trash cans. This is the first time that I have ever experienced this problem. Could this be a problem with the downloads? Or is there something else causing the problem? How would I go about making sure that everything is corrected?

I know that this is a long post, but I hope that it gives enough details to help diagnose the problem. I would greatly appreciate any and all help that can be given. Thank you in advance for your advice.

I think it's in the game and expansions itself. I have the same problem.

 

Here's what I did, after I put in numerous amount of trash cans and recycling bins, and when the guests ignored them, I deleted the food court and built a new one. About half the guests that kept throwing their trash on the ground threw it in the cans and bins. Some still threw it on the ground though.

Thanks for the help and sorry it took so long to reply. I had to end up uninstalling my game and putting new memory and video card into the computer and then everything seemed to be working fine. I had the minimum requirements before, but now my computer is maxed out and it is running great.
