Pukkie, you are such an active and fun member here at Tek! Why did you first join here?

I was hoping that this site was having animalsigns in the style from Sundance at Zookeeperslounge

wich alass was not so But what I found in ZooTek download database got me busy for weeks

 

 

Why do you think ZTP is such a great web home?

Because the word home says it all. It is my home as soon as I wake up even before I have one bite of my breakfast I simply have to go here where the people are warm and share so much love around and even don't realise them doing so I am more home here then in the house I live in

 

 

What would happen to you if Tek were to close?

I would be homeless and very very lost

 

What would you say to all the people out there reading this right now, to have them open their hearts and wallets to help ZTP ?

That this is a home like it should be With webmoms to play boardgames with their kids (or members if you wish)

And have the right envrionment for people to show their talents and make them feel appreciated for

just that, wich is sharing and there for they will probably keep improving theirselves as well

And if you want to give many shelter from the rain called life this is the place we can gather

and find some refuge from it and chill and relax by the warmth of the flames of the burning heart of

Phoenix

well, the feeling that everyone here is like family.we all try to help eachother out the best way we can.and we have fun!

 

If ZTP were to vanish, how would you feel?

i would have WAY too much time on my hands if it were to disapear.i would not be happy, i like coming on here,especially as it is game related and every single person who comes on this site has one HUGE thing in common, WE ALL LOVE ZOO TYCOON!

 

If you could say something to the people reading this to open their wallets, what would it be?

i would say..(in a very dramatic voice) please let us continue with this really great site, that has just grown and grown. we love it,and like me, once you come here, you dont want to leave.EVERY PENNY HELPS.

Norn: Oh well when I was asked I hammed it up a bit but answer it however you wish (if it's dull I'll just stick in funny sound effects or something lol)

Norn: Okey doke; question number one - hum...Oh what was question number one again...O yes what is it that makes you keep on coming back to tek like some kind of...Winnie the Pooh to a big pot of internet honey?

Genki: Haha~! That's a deliciously phrased question! It's the people, I think, that keep me coming back day after day, and the enjoyment I get from creating new things for everyone to play with. If I were not a designer, my other main reason for coming to Tek would be the amazing downloads created by the other designers!

 

Norn: Oh yes I said that too (and I don't even play ZT lol) so my second question is a topical one. As I'm sure you know there is a lot of civil unrest in Tibet over China's occupation and so my question to you is: what would you do if tek wasn't here?

Genk: Uhh...Die a lonely death? I don't know, if Tek wasn't around, it would be soooo saaaad for me. There are other ZT sites, but they're just not Tek! Besides, I'd miss my moderator's whip - you know, the one I use to keep people in line with.

 

Norn: Yes, you're power-mad! Now I'm deviating from the last question I think I was meant to ask you but I think we've pretty much covered it so my question to you goes a little like this: What would you say to all those tekladites who are also members to the clearly inferior sites? Why should they help keep tek going whenever they may have another ZT home?

Genki: Just say three times, "There's no place like Tek, there's no place like Tek, there's no place like Tek..."I frequent other sites, myself, but there truly is no other site like Tek. The members and the whole feel of the site are just so very comfortable and friendly, and I think we have some of the best downloads for ZT ever made. Err... some of the best ZT downloads ever made.

 

Norn: Yes and it also has the best me ever made...well I think I've got enough except could you please end with a wee plea for loads and loads of cash in order to stop tek from croaking?

Genki: lol Our beloved Tek is in need of donations to cover the costs of running the site! Please, if you have the means, donate for the sake of those of us who would have to go to rehab to treat our withdrawals otherwise!

Now, I'm sure you're all wondering now, what exactly does Tek need funds for? Well, we have server costs, hosting that is, and upgrades and security costs from Invision itself. With our many wonderful downloads, we eat up a bit of bandwidth and server space, and we may need to upgrade that as time goes by and we add more and more downloads to our database.

I have received some questions today, and thought I would share the answers here for anyone else who'd like to know!

 

Who is the webmaster? Who is in charge of zoo tek?

Brandi and SavannahJan own and run the site. They are jointly responsible for keeping it running, managing, decision-making and for making the cute and wonderful skins that rotate throughout the year. (Skins, for those who don't know, make up the look of the board, including the colors, fonts and the banner at the top of the page)

 

Who pays for this website?

Zoo Tek is funded by donations from its members. Donations go towards the costs of the website (including server and bandwidth issues) and needed upgrades to keep things running smoothly.

 

How can I help?

If you have the means to help Zoo Tek pay for its costs, please do! Send a Private Message (PM) to Brandi to get more details on how to do so.
