Fern Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 I am getting that problem I used to get when the software first changed.........Posts that go on and on and on like they have been stretched. Huge blank areas. But only with some people not everyone.
(Admin)Savannahjan Posted February 21, 2011 Author Posted February 21, 2011 Yep, I got that yesterday too. When I clicked the compatibility button on IE, it fixed it. I need to look back and see if I can find what was causing that. Since we restored the database to almost present day, it shouldn't be happening.
Kreek Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Is the site still being worked on? I couldn't find the topic that said so. I know I got a mail stating that the avatars don't show up yet, but I also don't get any email notifications. Is that correct, or should that be okay?
(Admin)Savannahjan Posted February 21, 2011 Author Posted February 21, 2011 Everyone may need to go back into their profile and re-select their preferences. When we were reset, some of our women were suddenly showing as 'male' in their profile. It looks like settings returned to the default. The good news is that it appears that all the members were returned to the database. The site has now been backed up again as is, so we won't be able to recover anything else. All members, please re-upload your avatars and profile pictures. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. Also, those of you who are seeing the long, long post boxes, please list the name of the member who's post are affected. Thanks!

KTesch Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 ZooGrammy, I found it. I guess I didn't go down far enough the first time around. I was also getting the big white long blank page in your post to me and it kept switching back and forth. Some weird thing, I don't know, but I hit the Compatability Wizard thing at the top and hopefully fixed it. Thank you. Kim
