Dizzy Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 I've had this happen to me before. I took a closer look and realized that I had been logged out, probably either by my computer or by this particular forum. When I logged in again, it appeared to be ok. Makes me feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone lol Over here, behind my computer and laptoppie..no matter when, I ALWAYS have to log in, just as soon as I jump over to another site, and come back again, it refuses to recognize me as a member... LOGON LOGON LOGON mesmerizing LOGON always poppin' up.. ... clearly it's a devious plan and it's working I keep coming back p.s. Sav J, sometimes you have to take the plunge a face your IP Board fears

ARIZNANA Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 I cannot find a place to sign in on the new Blue Christmas screen . I do not have good eyesight , so I may be missing it . Right top on mine is the messenger only .
(Trustee)Menolly Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Ariznana, Use the navigation bar on the left side just down from the North Pole sign, but you must be signed in if you can post.
ARIZNANA Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Thank you Menolly . I signed in by changing the screen back to the leaves version . You would not belive how bad my vision is . My right eye has been pretty much gone for a long time and my left eye has a cataract. There are blind spots from time to time . so i dont always find things easily . Thank you I will try that again .
(Admin)Savannahjan Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 I'm sorry about the confusion. First, I often have to log in when I come to Tek. I believe it is a cookie issue. Our site does set a cookie when you log in, but for some reason, they are deleted when some members log out. This could be a browser issue, but it could also be some glitch in our aging software. Yes, Anne-Marie, I think we simply must take the plunge after the first of the year. Second, this skin is quite an old one which was no longer available in our current board version. I saw an upgraded version while doing a search last year and contacted the designer to ask if there was an older version and YAY! he had kept a copy. Although the skin originally was not free, since it was out of circulation, he gave us it to us free, which was very kind of him. I tried to figure out how to move the nav bar back up to the top, but it was beyond my skills, so I decided to use it anyway since it is so cute and bright. Once you get used to looking over there for the links, it is easy to use.
ARIZNANA Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 I am fine now . Just have trouble seeing things to the sides . It is a lovely skin . The blue is very calming .
(Trustee)ZooGrammy Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Jan, I have trouble using the emoticons. No matter how far away I put them from the text, they still just give their file name. :smilie_xmas_096:src="http://zootekphoenix.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/smilie_xmas_096.gif">
(Trustee)ZooGrammy Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 If I use compatibility view, I get the Emoticons but lose the Avatars.
pukkie Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 How weird is that :chomping_candy_cane_wink: All work fine for me What browser are you using?
