Microbru Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 OK, here's what I'm trying (and miserable failing to do) I've got an exhibit at elevation (call it zero). I am trying for the appearance of a 3 tile road angling down and then running under the exhibit, but it seems no matter how deep I go or where I place the roof, it looks stupid from one side or another. I'm assuming I would have to get 6 deep, but then how to line it up? Any help would be appreciated. This is only intended as scenery. Cheers! Microbru. P.S. Just finishing a zoo devoted to colors, where everything in each exhibit possible is of similar hue. Red, White, Blue, Black, Yellow, Purple, Green, Pink, Brown, Lt. Green, Dark Red, Grey, Orange and Lt. Blue.
(Trustee)genkicoll Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 There is a tutorial on how to use the terrain roofs in our Phoenix University area. The footprint of the roofs is 1 full tile (which is walkable, so it won't block your animals or guests) and is six levels tall. Since the roofs are 3x3 tiles, you can make your pathway underneath them 3 tiles wide, and still have it look like there's no path there at all. If nothing else, it will be easier to place them that way :) If you're still having trouble by the time I'm able to get back to the computer, I'll be happy to help.
