the Eurasian Beaver by zooworld is listed twice

It looks like it is the same file though so one of them could be deleted

They are each a different size.  I'd like Fern &/or Jay to take a look.  These are ZT2 animals & I wouldn't know what I was looking at if I were to check out the code lol.

One might be a variant of the original.

I don't play ZT2 so someone who does should look. Hawkkeye perhaps.

I have no idea how I stumbled on this topic. I took a look though.

This one however is actually a variant skin for the American Beaver and not an animal on its own:  https://zootekphoenix.com/forums/files/file/3279-eurasian-beaver-by-zooworld/

 

Both use the exact same skin so I think what likely happened here is that Zooworld released it as both a completely new animal called the Eurasian Beaver, and separately for the American Beaver as a Eurasian Beaver variant skin (in case people didn't want a new animal and just liked the skin).

 

I also found these two ZT1 files in the ZT2 categories while reminiscing through the ZT2 files:

Now, I am not too well-versed in ZT2.  I need to enlist help lol.  Fern, what are your thoughts on the two beavers?

None! No thoughts whatsoever. Neither Jay or I play ZT2 and I would have just given you the info I got from ZTUF where these were originally.

I guess I should research that MG Ostrich Statue since I suspect it does not belong to Tek. Do you still have the original before it was fixed? No author noted either.

The second one I linked is just a variant. No harm in it. It's the easiest mod to make between the two games so they're easy to spot. Maybe just a rename to "American Beaver Variant" and a description like "This mod is a variant skin for the American Beaver that will occasionally spawn a beaver with a darker coat."

No, sorry.  Since it has the initials MG in front of it, could that possibly be a clue to the author?  That was my thought, at least.  However, a member name with those initials does not ring a bell.
