Truly_happy Posted October 20, 2025 Posted October 20, 2025 Yes, CHURROS! Mil gracias. (Rough translation: Thanks a million.) Anyway, I'm wanting these for a Guatemalan zoo. Looks like dead bread is Guatemalan as well as Mexican. The soup isn't, but the others may be. And, yes ... these do look pretty Blue-Fang match to me, too. Buen trabajo. (Good work.)

I have an endless wishlist but I think I need to add that near the top. Personally I think a whole re-imagined atlantean theme would be so much fun. Yes. But as for the Old Western items, there is not much there yet. I mean, I had a shot at it long time ago, with way worse graphics. But I'm thinking items like: - A mine / some mining equipment. Probably mostly as scenary. - You can't miss a saloon - Perhaps some sort of arcade - A jail or bank building (not sure if they'd have a real use though, perhaps just some pictures or as some form of animal house) - Some decorative buildings (or perhaps even facades to hide other items from guests), statues, arches -- and also native American ones! - Would go great with horses, mustangs, perhaps other animals as well 1

Millón would be million 👍🏼 We’re two very distinct cultures (and each proud of it), but true that we share a lot of similarities. I wouldn’t be able to tell you what those are though 🫠 Maybe we get lucky and a Guatemalan chimes in. Appreciate the compliments!

I was going to just say tacos because I am vehemently against calling them street tacos. Why are they called street tacos and hardshell tacos get to be called tacos? They’re then original! Both are yummy though.
(Admin)Savannahjan Posted October 21, 2025 Posted October 21, 2025 These just keep getting better and better! The bright colors are stunning. 1
Goosifer Posted October 21, 2025 Author Posted October 21, 2025 Next up is the Champurrado Stand: Champurrado is a very Fall/Winter Mexican drink based on another drink called Atole. Both drinks have a corn flour or masa base which gives it its creamy texture, along with spices and lots of chocolate (must be the kind of chocolate you get from the mexican grocery store! it also adds to the texture and flavor). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Champurrado I think I have just the tamales and chimichangas left, plus an extra bonus I'll leave to the very end of the pack to make ( can't believe I forgot to include it...).
Fern Posted October 21, 2025 Posted October 21, 2025 Then how about a matching restaurant or two selling some of those things. If you word the tooltips and guest thoughts right the same ids can be used for both but with different configuring for the stand and the restaurant. 1
Goosifer Posted October 21, 2025 Author Posted October 21, 2025 As far as restaurants go I'm not sure. I have one restaurant-like building planned called La Michoacana. It's a famous ice cream chain in Mexico that sells hand-made popsicles, ice cream, and treats. It turns out they lost the rights to their trademark in the US so it's why, if you're American anyway, you might see them everywhere in the US. They're not a chain here, but everyone has taken advantage of the trademark ruling to call their ice cream store the same name because it sells. And so will I for this mod lmao. Anyway, I just don't know where to go creatively with a big building that sells food because the one in the game already kind of matches this pueblo style, so it's already been done and I kind of want to avoid making a similar one. After the last two stands I'm going to take a small break on the foods and experiment with fences, fountains, and other misc objects. I want this to be a full theme pack. Edit: maybe I can add in a 'hack' that adds some of these food items to the restaurant already in the game. 2
