Help me please - my stands are gone

Sorry if I write this in the wrong place...

 

Please help me. I am very new in this site. I downloaded a lot of mods from here and its working perfectly, I am in love with my game and your absolutely amazing mods. But, I noticed that the original burger stand and drink stand from my game is missing now. What can caused that? How can I get them back?

Are you using any hacks?

Are you using a freeform game?

Is it only the stands or are there other things missing?

Also note that because of designer restrictions there might be several stands that show in the menu as "burger stand" or "Drink stand" or "restaurant". So you might need to scroll through the whole building menu to find them.

Now it also helps to know that the building menu appears in price order with the cheapest at the start and the dearest at the end. The burger stand costs $250. I notice that while I have the contest files ingame which are Toodlepops Carnival Stands that the ingame burger stand is after a few of them.

Also when you use buildings with the same name and rotate the menu, the menu resets to the top one with that name so you would need to scroll down to relocate it. Sadly this is another of the things we designers have to put up with when making new things.

Thank you for your quick answer. Yesterday I merged some ztd files and deleted some more, now I have a burger stand and drink stand. Maybe I had too much ztd files? (I had 348, now I have 30)

That would be right. There is a limit to how many ztds can be in the game. Also how many dll files.

Combining helps but keep in mind there is also a limit per menu as well. But that is huge compared to the ztd count.

That site also lists the dll files you might need to get so that all the user buildings are named.

Be careful using hacks and do not merge them with other files.

There are also lots of downloads there too, including all my fences.

Hi again. I am devastated. A lot of animals, foliage and fences from the base game are vanished from my purchase menu. Only there. For example if I brought a flamingo, it is okay, but I cannot buy a new one. I deleted all of my mods including ztd and dll files. (I have CC.) After that it was okay again. I put back the invisible fence ztd and only that and it was okay still. Then, I loaded a new map, and everything gone again from the purchase menu. Even in my saved game. I tried again deleting my only ztd file, but it doesn't work. Why is this happening to me? I read all of the issues from Fern's site. Maybe the purchase menu unlock checks caused that? But why all of my maps?  

 

Edit: Okay, I waited for the next check and the animals are back, but the fences are not.

It is all of the Freeform maps. The game releases the various files as time passes over several game years. If you just watch the map over a few ingame months you will see notices telling you new parts are available. Using a freeform unlock will fix this problem.

removed MMFreeformUnlock.zip as now available in Downloads area.

The only map that is immune is the kids map which has everything available.

 

Use this. Do not try to combine it with anything. If you have a hack folder put it in that. If not put it in dlupdate.

Most of us use this one or the menu hack from my site.
