Changes made to Zoo.ini file not applying to Zoo Tycoon 1

As the title implies, I changed the values of playMovie= and playSecondMovie= from 1 to 0 in Notepad++ and saved the changes, but both intro movies are still playing when I load the game. I haven't made any other changes to the Zoo.ini file and I would love some guidance on what I should do to apply these changes and others in the future.

From Jay: That should have worked. One way to check if it is the correct zoo.ini file is to check the lastfile setting in zoo.ini, run ZT, load a different zoo than shown by lastfile, exit ZT, and confirm that the lastfile setting changed to the newly loaded zoo. If it is the correct zoo.ini file, then I have to assume that the change was not done correctly. I have "playMovie=0" and "playSecondMovie=0" in the [UI] section within my zoo.ini. I could look at the zoo.ini file to see that everything is as it should be.

Checked and not only is my most recently opened zoo not listed at lastfile but no file is listed here despite having played this game for hours....

Any tips on finding the correct zoo.ini file since this clearly isn't it

 

EDIT: Tried to locate the zoo.ini file via command prompt as I did before and I found the correct one file. Had my last loaded zoo in lastfile and when I edited the playMovie settings here the movies did not play. Not quite sure what happened but thank you nonetheless, I would have been absolutely stuck otherwise. :)
