Our beloved Z.Z. (Cathy Rourke) passed away this morning

 

Her husband posted this on her Facebook account:

 

Today I cry.

A cry from the depth of my soil

and the fullness of my heart.

I will never see her smile.

I will never hear her laughter or see her beautiful eyes again.

She is here beside me, yet she is not.

She has left me and gone a different path.

Leaving me with my memories of our life together and our love for each other.

She left me a better man than she found me.

And for that I love her even more

Cathy Rourke passed this morning. it started raining as she passed. She loved dancing in the rain. Somewhere she is dancing still.

Very sad news, but what a beautiful poem to remember her with.

I feel tons of grief over the loss of our friend 

I knew it was coming as she told in advance but it doesn’t make it easier 

My heart is crying I am crying and that probabably will be an on and off continuous undoing thing for today and most likely tomorrow

my heart goes out to her husband 

For us let’s keep her in our hearts and memories

An other gentle soul gone.  So sorry to hear of Cathy's passing - her knack for contests and designs were always a treat.  The poem is a very loving tribute.
