I know this topic has already been discussed and I was trying to combine my ztd files, but I'm still confused :( Could anyone help me a bit with this, cause I'm still really lost :c Thank you in advance <3

Tutorials When I first starting trying to combine files, I attempted the WinZip method. I didn't get very far. Then when I realized that WinRar existed, I started using it. For me, the WinRar method was much easier. Good luck!
Javii4763 Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 I was just reading one that mentioned WinRar and I was about to try it. Tbh, I have the ztds in my dlupdate folder and that's basically all I know haha :c

Fern Posted January 7 Posted January 7 You cannot combine with winrar and change the file name from rar to ztd. You can combine as zip and rename that. At what point does the game crash?

Javii4763 Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 I'm a little bit frustrated :( I tried asking chatGPT to walk me through it because I didn't understand any tutorials I read, I literally tried for hours to combine the files but nothing worked :( I tried unziping the files, then combining them into a single zip and then renaming it to .ztd but no matter how I did it, the animals/objects wouldn't show up in the game. I tried many times, being very careful on the structure of the folder and all, but the result was always the same :c I read this on Reddit "Unzip the ztds and compare which changes you want to merge, then zip up your combined ztd" and that's EXACTLY what I tried to do, but it didn't work :c I have a lot of mods, the dlupdate folder has a limit of aprox. 300 files, if I add more than that the game crashes when I try to open a map. That's why I wanted to combine files, so that I would habve more space for other mods, but I guess I can't :c Could someone maybe tell me how they do it? I just don't know what is it that I'm doing wrong, maybe I got too greedy haha :c
