How to Create This Look (Textured Terrain)

Does anyone know how to create the look of how the ground looks here? It looks like textured gravel and rock piles guests can walk on.

There are paths that are partly see-through showing the terrain below. This is most likely the ingame Desert Trail Path placed over dirt, gravel, and sand terrain.

I suggest you look through the Path graphical index over at DD found here as there are others that you might like.

Thank you, I got that effect to work for me. Do you know of a good download to create the smaller rock piles?

Nevermind, I was able to get that look using the path as ground cover. It's a really cool effect.
