I want more guests

Hi! I'm new to the board, but not to ZT. I have The 'complete collection,' and only one user hack. I have the super hack (where you can delete poo and the fences never go bad). I LOVE this hack, makes playing much more enjoyable for me. However, with this hack (or maybe it's just me making crappy zoos, not sure which) I've noticed that I start out with a good amount of guests, then as I get more exhibits, I get less guests. Okay, my zoo rating isn't super, (maybe in the high 70's) but the animals are all at like, 100% happy. I like to build medium to large zoos becasue I can make bigger exhibits (many animals are happier with more of their own kind, but if exhibits are too small, zookeeper tells you the exhibit is too small for the animals). And I like having room to have a lot of different animals. Anyway, any advice on how to get lots and lots of guests? Certainly I should have more than 140 guests on a medium map, right?

Are you adding attractions and food stands and gift shops? There are tutorials here on this site and even a manual on the game CD. Other sites have game guides too.

Your zoo rating is the problem since guests don't like zoos with low ratings. You can try increasing the marketing (it can go up to $1000 a month), and this might help, but if your zoo rating isn't high enough, it's probably not going to help much.
