Endangered Species

I'm having trouble with the Endangered Species scenario. For those of you who don't remember what you don't have to do. You have to make a 5 star zoo with only endangered or critically endangered animals.

Hi Heartsong.

You're probably past this level now, as this post is 2 weeks old. But just in case...

First thing to remember, like all zoos in campaign, is that you're here to win it, not make it your favourite zoo. So go boring, do a sell and smooth. Make one big path 6 tiles wide heading straight into the zoo and have long, skinny mixed exhibits running off this using cliff walls for sides and back to save money on fencing. Start with whatever animals you want, endangered or not, to get your fame up. Peafowls are always good, because they breed fast and you can get fame by releasing them to the wild. By 2 stars you'll be getting a few endangered or critical animals. Start putting them in. But just drop one in of each kind, no need to breed them up. Save your money. It's usually the 'Number of Species' or 'Entertaining Animals' that hold me back in the star count, so just drop one of each animal in to get the species number up, and go varius primates(Gorillas, Chimps, Etc). When you are getting claser to 5 stars, start getting rid of any non-endangered animals you have in the zoo, but for each species you take out, be sure to replace it with a newer endangered animal. Or alternatively, try getting to 5 stars, then pause it, go round and release your unwanted animals, then unpause. Sometimes it works. If you got past the Panda Zoo, and the level in AA that requires a 4 star tour and 5 star park in year, you should be able to do something similar here.

Hope this helps.
