mrspiggy Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I thought that if you had a damaged exhibit fence wall you could replace it free by using the "gate". I have always used this method when building with a limited amount of money. But just recently I've noticed that I was being charged for replacing the damaged fence with the gate....depending upon which fence I used. The plexiglass cost $150.00 while the post & rail was free..then after a bit I was charged for replacing the post & rail, $90.00. Am I losing what's left of my mind!!! laura :whoa:
(Trustee)genkicoll Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I used to use this method, myself, until like you, I noticed that I was being charged >_< Bleeeeh~ I generally don't like hacks, but I do love the free/indestructible fence hack
eddy-k Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 instead of using hacks i use the Bob V maintenance "cheat"
(Admin)Savannahjan Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 I've had the superhack in my game for so long, I never stop to think about the fences deteriating. I did notice the other day while I was working on our club zoo that there was a square of trampled terrain. It has been years since I saw this happen.
(Admin)Cricket Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 lol I'm the same way. Unless I'm working on the club zoo, I never play without the superhack!
pukkie Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Well for some reason the superhack in my game does everything except for the fences But I found that out in clubcontests as when i play for myself not a single hack is used Although I am still planning on the swimming wolf hack and the egg hack one day but not at the same time ..... (at first that is)
Fern Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Well for some reason the superhack in my game does everything except for the fences The superhack only works on ingame fences not user made ones. So it would not work for any of the coloured fences for a start.
pukkie Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Aha! well there is hardly a point in using them then LOL as I mostly use those It does explaines a lot though :risitas6ba0:
Fern Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 LOL The hack was made before the fences. And each fence has to be added individually. So even if they were added now, it would still not work for any new ones that I make after that point.
mrspiggy Posted March 25, 2009 Author Posted March 25, 2009 well, I guess I'm not losing my mind after all... I thought I had read somewhere about just using the "gate" to fix the fences or maybe I named a male maintenance worker Bob V and just forgot about it..anyway I can now put what is left of my mind back in place and continue with the game.... thanks everyone. laura
