I was informed by a Gamestop employee that Microsoft has discontinued Zoo Tycoon 2: Ultimate Collection. I have also noticed that many sites that sell the game say that it is discontinued.

Might have something to do with the formatting (Disc 3) problems.

WHy don't they just fix it? It's a shame, it's the only ZT2 product I see anymore, and now it means we won't see a Zt2 product in stores forever.

Amazon.com still has it for sale~ Zoo Tycoon 2: Ultimate Collection

though it's ships from and sold by J&R Music and Computer World.

They had it listed at $39.99 and dropped the price down to $14.97 now

plus $2.95 for shipping.

 

I have been thinking about get ZT2: Ultimate Collection for awhile and now

I'm wondering if I should go ahead and order it if it's being discontinued,

though if the third disc is messed up like most say is it worth it? I did read

one of the reviews at Amazon that might be helpful if it is messed up~

I was lucky when I bought my copy. It work fine.

Bought 2 copies from different retailers and both did NOT work. Tried to download it on 2 different computers...still no luck. I was able to return both and get a full refund. I know if you call the zootycoon/microsoft # they will send a replacement disc. They told me it was a formatting issue with disc #3 and they are working out the problem.....we will have to wait and see. :whistilin:

Disk Three worked fine with me... No problems, just slow installation.

I bought UC from Amazon & had to have disk 3 replaced. Everything works fine now
