only zip file has .ztd,

I have the directions here for extracting zip files and where to put them but I just started and already have a problem. Specifically, the TycRes files. The zip files are marked .ztd but the files inside are not. There are usually several folders, none of which contain a .ztd file but lots of others, some with .ucs and a lot with .pal as the extension.

 

I've not checked any others I have but in any case, what do I do with these? do I just put everything in the dlupdates folder or what? Can I put in the folders or just the individual files. How would I make a combined file if I can't find one marked .ztd?

Yeah... ^_^;; A lot of the older files, such as those from TycRes need to be updated, and not just because they're not in .ztd format. They WILL be updated at some point, we just have a lot we're working on.

 

So, what you do with the folders:

 

You see an objects and scenery folder, with various things inside them. Don't worry about what's inside them, just do the following:

 

Zip the objects and scenery folders into one zip file. Change the file extension from .zip to .ztd.

But isn't it so that in case like with Barb here who has just a ztd file it is enough just to place the file in the dlupdateolder?

as zip files you need to open and get the ztd file out to place that file in the dlupdatefolder

since the tyrecs is already ztd you do not need to open but just get the file in the dlupdatefolder

I was not clear, totally. I have unzipped the zip file and the folder has a .ztd extension but not anything inside; so I just put the whole thing in the dlupdates, correct?

All the downloads I have from TycRes unzip to a .ztd folder. I'll give it a try.

Genki I have some of the TycRes files already done and was not going to upload until all done. I did them way back when ZA was down so need to relocate them as ZA also has these files.

Had the other half of the root canal done today so am not up to looking at much at the moment.
