How to download user made zoos

I was browsing the downloads and came across the user made zoos. My question is, how do I download and open these? Is it the same as all the other downloads..(animals,fences,etc..) Thanks!

animals fences and other things are .ztd files and go in your (dl) updatefolder User made zoos are .zoo files and go in your saved games folder

You download and then unzip the zoo. Place the .zoo file into your ZT game's Saved Games folder. Sometimes the zoos will need some additional user made downloads for you to see everything in the zoo. There may be a file of downloads added, and you should be sure to unzip these and put them into your game's dlupdates folder. Other times, the additional downloads needed may just be there as a list and you will have to look for them in our downloads area.

 

When you want to open up and look at the zoo, choose the option to open up a saved zoo. The game should default to the Saved Games folder, where the zoo in question should now be. Find it in the list of your created zoos and open it up.

Ok can you give me a step by step how to? LOL im kinda bad with all this downloading stuff

I try in Pukkanese

 

A: download the zoo of your choice save it where you can find it back easily for instance on your deskscreen

B: dubbel click on the file

C: right click on the file which is .zoo and copy it

D: go to the disk where you have your zootycoon which is mostly c

E: click on program files

F: click Microsoftgames

G: click ZooTycoon

a load of folders show up there but you click on the folder SAVED GAMES

and then the final step rightclick mousebutton and choose paste.

 

and then the zoofile is in the right folder

 

To play with your downloaded zoo

 

A: launch ZooTycoon

B: pick load saved game

C click on the zoo you just placed in the game and you are ready to go.
