Guest Dragonseraph Angel Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 This may be a slightly wierd question, but I am going to ask anyway... I have been playing Zoo tycoon 2 lately, and I noticed that the zoos are more or less too small... even the big ones in freeform mode or whatever. With all of the expander packs I have, the size deficit becomes even more glaring - goodness, some of the carnivorous dinosaurs need HUGE exhibits all to themselves - and the largest zoos in ZT2 are far smaller, square for square than the zoos in ZT1. So here is the question - is there a way to hack (a relatively easy way) a much larger zoo? I am no computer wiz, certianly not a programmer or a real hacker, and my computer is notorious for having ...problems... to say the least, so is there a way to do it without having insane skills? Or has it already been done? Thanks for looking :th_hapydancsmil:
pukkie Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I remember this discussion behing held on ZT.NL This evening (my time) I will go there and have a look for you
Guest Dragonseraph Angel Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 Thank you for looking... But did you find anything?
pukkie Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 There are 47 pages full of ZT2 related problems :whoa: There was a reason I didn't play it that much LOL I bumped into your question multiple times and the answer turned into the same conclusion every time: it is technically impossible to create a supersized zoo If you run out of space you need to start a new zoo
Guest Dragonseraph Angel Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 My gratitude for you assistance . It is sad that this is an inevitable problem that cannot be fixed or avoided. Thus my general demeanor has been after seeing this. I will keep my eyes open, if somehow a fix does come up (Bah! Back to 3D modelling and such) Best wishes :th_hapydancsmil:
slg Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Some designers tried to enlarge the Zoo Tycoon 2 maps. The result was that the game crashes.
pukkie Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 That's one of the most mentioned reasons the answer all the time is that it is technically impossible It just can't be done :moosey2:
