Varients gone walkabout!

Yesterday when i was playing zoo tycoon 2 (just the main one, no add on packs) i was able to have herds of mustangs in two or three colours (same with cats,etc) Today i reinstalled zootycoon2 and all the downloads that i had previously had on the game yesterday but now i am only getting blank/plain white horses and only one colour of all the animals. Im really confused. I cannot contact the makers of the mustang as their forums are closed and the other forums that i am on just say 'contact the artist/forum where you downloaded them from'

 

Any suggestions?

well what happened after I been posting was no reaction on the forum but on msn

not just one but 4 people all claiming the same thing

 

There is NO other way then that time you had varients either AA, ES,MM or EA

that doesn't matter either one of those brings varients to your horses

 

After reinstalling ZT2 only have one colour showing means that to have what you had is to add

again any of the previous mentioned add on packs

then it should be that you have them varients again

If you don't have either ES, MM, or EA installed varients will not appear, as they came with those expansion packs.

I had the same problem recently. :) It's more common than I thought but here is the best answer.

You only need ES to see varient skins unless the animal or varient is made for a later pack. Also, you'll need to adjust your graphics to at least medium. To do that, go to the main menu screen, and go to options, and click advanced options. Most computers will support the medium settings for all the options, but I don't reccomend putting anything on High unless you are sure it will work well.

If none of this works, its a problem with the skin download itself.
