Quick question about zoo staff

Im having issues in my zoo with staff members being rather clueless, mainly zookeepers, walking through other exhibits trying to get to another. Is there any way to change the AI or anything for the staff to prevent them from going into the wrong exhibit and complaining about not being able to reach Exhibit ___?

Best thing I have found to do, is to trap them. Leave a one row space between your exhibits, this is for the zookeeper to go so he can reset and "monitor the zoo". Place a big rock up near the front so he can't get away and assign him to just those two animals. Kind of like this:

 

 

This way the only place he can go is to the Zebras or the Gazelles or in between.
