Teotlxixtli Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 I have been playing Zoo Tycoon for a while now and I notice that it is hard to create realistic zoos because everything is grid based. So I have instead created a realistic environment- an isolated island home to the last thylacines on the planet, untouched by the hunters who sought to kill the entire species.
(Admin)Savannahjan Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Oh, that is excellent. The rock formations look very much like craggy cliffs, you did a nice job with them. I think your zoo looks very realistic and natural. That is also my favorite type of building, as natural as possible. Great job!
Teotlxixtli Posted October 9, 2010 Author Posted October 9, 2010 I prefer to have the grid lines for the reason that it's almost like looking at latitude and longitude lines. It gives it a kind of map feel.
Ashea Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Beautiful work Teotlxixtli. With the rocks surrounding the outer edges of the island it give the shot that "lost land" feel. Keep up the good work!
Guest Caddienoah Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I very much like your island...very nice job...keep working on your designs...would like to see more screens by you! I'm sure you have more terrific ideas to share!!!
Firehawke Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I love the design!!! I usually build with the grid on, too. Can't wait to see what else you create :)
