How to separate .ztd files into their separate parts?

Basically, I have some .ztd files that contain too many animals, some of which I'd like to delete, some of which I'd like to keep. How can I separate the .ztd files into separate parts and only keep the animals that I want?

I would imagine you are talking about combined .ztd files. If so, check out the tutorial here.

That link only talks about extracting scenery and buildings, not animals.

I would imagine that the concept would be the same. Give it a try. If not, perhaps Fern or someone else better 'in the know' can help you out.

Did you download them already combined? If so what are the file names.

I think I understand now. I just didn't understand what it meant by "extract." But, now I get it. Thanks guys. <3
