(Admin)Savannahjan
The screens are lovely, ZG. What a wonderful idea to create a memorial zoo. Your interpretation is like an oasis in the middle of the city.
(Trustee)ZooGrammy
Glad that you like it Jan. It was fun to do and it inspired Fern to think of working on buildings again. What I love to do in ZT is to make something that copies real life. I was very touched by the memorial remembrance and the plans that they are working on. We lived in Oklahoma City when the Federal Building was bombed and it is an experience we will never forget. My husband was downtown at a meeting at the time. So I can understand a little of what the people of New York felt. Here is a wonderful video of the rescue boats that took people off of Manhattan Island. http://forum.woodenboat.com/showthread.php?136581-BoatLift-An-Untold-tale-of-September-11-Resilience
