Screen Resolution

Hi Folks

 

Wow, I've been away so long!! And now I have a shiny new laptop :glitter_happy: And that's why I'm here. I know this is such a newbie type question, but anyone who actually remembers me will know that's typical of me! :sFun_doh2:

 

I have installed ZT on the laptop (1 and 2) and I have these ugly black borders either side of the game play area. I'm guessing it must be about the screen resolution, but I don't know what to do about it. My new laptop is set at 1366 x 768, where the old one was 1024 x 768.

 

Is there anyway to lose the vertical black borders? I have tried changing the screen res size and the res size on the game settings, but no luck.

did you change the res on the laptop? ... try resetting the laptop to 1024X768 ... after re-reading it seems that you did so maybe you might have to re-install the game after putting the res of laptop at 1024x768 ... I am not sure what else it could be other than a res or install problem ... Good luck would love to know how you solve this puzzle. ...WELCOME HOME!!!!!!

Hi Alicia, it's nice to be 'home', even though I don't get here too often these days. Wow, that solution sounds like a job for next weekend. Can't summon the energy (or time!) for that just now.

I was thinking about this the other day and wondering myself, if this problem was resolved, too.
