MaTT² Posted May 30, 2013 Author Posted May 30, 2013 A bit late since my last post but I was preparing a new leaflet .. ^^ Here is the leisure-themed area, "Pow Wow" dedicated to the Native Americans : Entrance of the area; with the rocky archway, WC, the Mohawk Restaurant, the Cheyenne Camp and up on the left, the Recycling Center. Another view with the Cheyenne Camp and the river weaving around, the central totem and the Little Farm. The Native Americans Learning Center and the Great Aviary Last view for today, the end of the Pow Wow stage, and the entrance of the next area : the Forest. Hope you will enjoy =)
Firehawke Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Beautiful new pics!!! They get me in the mood for the pow wow that's going to take place in my neck of the woods in a week or two! Can't wait to see the forest!
MaTT² Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 I had a bug with this post, if anyone could delete it ? The good (and complete one) is the one I posted just below ^^
MaTT² Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 Thank for your answers !! :laugh:/> I got many ideas for the forest area, a deep and mysterious one with wild animals and surprises for the visitors ! I'm also looking for a new forest animal to download, in order to open the area in two times .. 5 animals each time, it's a good way to maintain good attendance and finances for my zoo ^^ I've finished the prairie leaflet and new zoo map too, but today I'll just post some focuses on the last area's buildings : The Recycling Center : only the compost building is functional, but this area figures a place where all the zoo's waste can be sorted out for recyling (organic waste, wood, metal, plastic ..) The Mohawk Restaurant : traditional meals from North American Indians (giant clams, pemmican, scampis, roasted wapiti, burned cauliflowers with cashew nuts, smoked salmon on birch wood, rabbit stew, pheasant "three sisters", aloo posto, blue crab ..) The Cheyenne Camp : as for the Masai Village, people can spent the night here in authentic wigwams. The Little Farm : children (and of course their parents) can approach the farm animals (pigs, sheeps, rabbits, ducks, ponies and goats) feeding and caressing them. The Indian Legends : a learning center where visitors can learn about the different indian tribes that used to live in Great Plainesn their legends and cultures. The Great Aviary : people can observe some birds of prey (hawks, buzzards, owls), pheasant and wading birds. Hope you like ! I'll post the leaflet this weekend ;-)
Firehawke Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Love the new animals!!! I like what you did with the compost building...I usually just try to hide it in a corner. I'll have to try what you did! Keep up the great work!
hananas59 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 I like that section of this zoo. It looks good even if its in ZT1.
