Every couple minutes I get a red-lettered message about thirsty animals who are only a few feet away from water. In some cases, they're even swimming in it. This has to be the most obnoxious bug in the game. Please tell me there's a fix for it. :tantrumsmiley:

I've had the problem before. With some downloads its a setting that needs to be changed. I've tried to change it but still haven't got it to work. They are wanting water from a dish or trough not a pond or lake or stream. And yes its annoying...sometimes I just adopt them out and get a new animal.

Thank you. I don't know anything about changing the game's settings beyond the one screen of options you can access when it loads. Are there tutorials for that sort of thing? I don't mind getting my hands dirty to make the game behave normally.

I can send you a copy of the information I have, but its not to change the game settings, its to change coding of animals that are user made.

Oh, I see. I only have three user made animals, and none of them were part of the zoo where the problem occurred. Thanks anyway. ;)

If you are wanting really nice animals (not cartoony) you need to go to Aurora Designs.
