Guest missladyhawke Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 I have tried to put Yeti's in my zoo's and I am having problems keeping them happy. I am currently working on a new Mythical Zoo right now with Bigfoot, Unicorn, Loch Ness Monster and a Yeti. I have read a lot of the guides out there and they all say the same thing, which I am doing. Tundra, grey stone, rocks, snowy rock cave, elevation, the zookeeper says that the exhibit is suitable for the Yeti, but he can't seem to be happy, is this normal? Any advice?
eradani Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 sometimes animals that get unhappy don't ever seem to get happy again. make a small exhibit and put your unhappy yeti in it. then delete the exhibit fence so the zookeeper will crate him up. then when you put her/him back in its original exhibit, the happiness is reset.
Guest missladyhawke Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 oh wow, thanks for the tip. I will do that.
Fern Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 You might find this useful Suitability Guides. They are guides for all the ingame critters. It shows the minimum amount of animals and exhibit size required and how to fill that minimum. Here is part of the Yeti info. It also lists all the foliage and rocks liked which I have not copied over. As you can see Yetis require a large exhibit. There are some animals that will happily fit in 30 grid squarea. Animal Characteristics: Habitat: Tundra; Location: Arctic Minimum happiness needed for chance of breeding: 99. Preferred shelter: Snowy Rock Cave. Animal can jump. Animal can climb cliffs. Exhibit Construction: Number of animals allowed per exhibit: 1-3 with 85 squares for each adult. Exhibit size (for 2 adults): 170 grid squares Terrain (for exhibit with 170 grid squares): 153 Snow, 17 Gray Stone Foliage (for exhibit with 170 grid squares): No foliage should be used. Rocks (for exhibit with 170 grid squares): 41 Small Snowy Rock - Small, which is its most liked rock. Elevation: Of the 170 squares, 23 nonadjacent squares should be elevated.
