I started a Cryptid Pack a few years ago that keeps falling on the backburner - my best recommendation is to go for a lot of the more obscure creatures. Many iconic cryptids are hard to replicate with the game's existing animals unless you make all-new animations, but some creatures aren't even well-known among Zoo Tycooners. My pack, which focused on apes, had a Nondescript for a example. Don't be afraid to have a little fun with your choices!
