That's me, I think I just got burned out on zt. I played sims for a while and then got hooked on world of Warcraft lol. Probably wouldn't have come back but my daughter gave me a zoo tycoon ds game and I realized how much I used to enjoy playing :)

Do many people still play? Is the first one better than 2. I couldn't find my zt 2 disc but I remember not liking it much.

Hi Devonah! So glad to see you here :) There are quite a few of us that still play! Some of us got into designing and we try to keep the game alive and interesting with new downloads. I've tried ZT2 before but didn't play long. I truly love ZT1 so much better!

There are quite a few people here who play regularly. We run a ZT 1 zoobuilding contest most months. We also still produce downloads for the game. We have a lot of members who never post, but they visit for the downloads. I think there are a lot more players out there that we don't know about.

 

I never cared for ZT2, but there is a thread of screenshots currently that shows a ZT2 zoo made by Razlin and the shots are amazing.

I was digging through old CDs and you would not believe the stuff I found. I kept all my old work. I even found a jaws ride lol. I also found a bunch of things I didn't see up for download. Did the lucky ducks and goldfish game get released, does anyone remember.

I dk why I stayed away do long, I really loved playing the game and I really enjoyed making stuff.

Ty I may take u up on that. I found so many unfinished projects. I always hated the technical stuff tho, the rotation , and the dll files. Will have to read up on all that. I don't even remember a lot of it lol. I did find several bldgs And rides that only needed to be added to Lang file. I dk if they weren't released or if jay pulled them for some reason., will have to check them out. Also found a lot of candy land stuff that I thought was released, will have to go look at zkl again.
