Hi! I recently found an torrent of Zoo Tycoon CC for Mac, and decided to download it to give ZT another whirl! The file wasn't exactly complete as it was missing a bunch of things and some animal names would come up as Fkds@#Shf or whatever, and I'm pretty sure buildings files were messed up, but I made it work! I realized that I haven't ever filled a Basic Grassy Zoo Map before (kinda lame, huh?) so I put myself to the challenge and I've been working on it for a couple of weeks and I've finally finished! Take a look. :)

Bongos/Okapis: (the poor zookeeper here keeps whining about not being able to clean up some poo. I've checked a thousand times. There's nothing here... must be another bug.)

Haha, Savannahjan, I think it's kinda funny you said that because I actually thought the large map was a lot bigger, and I ended up running out of space. I made the zoo in the order of Grassland > Coniferous/Deciduous > Rainforest > Highlands > Tundra > Savannah > Marine and I realized I kinda ran out of space for the savannah one x3 But I still made it work!!

African Wild Dogs, one of my favorite animals in ZT!

 

Triceratops: (lol I just noticed the trash in the upper left just.. ignore it idk why it's there D:)

 

Desert Tigers: See, I wanted everything to transition nicely, but since I added this part at the end there wasn't a whole lot so I ended up having to put the coldest climate right next to the hottest one.

 

Dolphin/Show Tank! Another one of my favorite areas

 

 

Going back a bit, so we'll hit the tundra part at the end. The t-rexes are right around here. They kept escaping, so I sunk the exhibit 3-4 spaces and that seems to have stopped, although it might have just been a coincidence. I have no idea why! I think the fences kept breaking. Maybe it's a bug.

Aw, shoot. It looks like I forgot to take a picture of the Snow leopard area, and I can't open the game file as it keeps crashing and idk why. This area is a little left of there:

That's it! I had a lot of fun making this zoo and I learned a lot of new things, and finally got to fill a whole map! I think next time I'll do a marine zoo, as I had a plan for this one but there ended up not being enough space for everything I wanted to do.

Bummer about the zoo crashing when you open it...I hate when that happens.
