Any problems with operating ZTCC on Windows 7 that I need to know?

My son is planning to use a cable connection to transfer files to the "new" (refurbished) computers and I am buying flash/usb drives to store ZT files to safeguard them.

THE ONLY ISSUE I HAD WAS COMPATIBILITY . AND THERE IS A SETTING FOR THAT ON WIN 7 . YOU CAN PICK WHICH WINXP YOU USED BEFORE WHEN ZTCC WORKED WELL .AND SET IT FOR THAT .

ANOTHER OPTION IS :

I HAVE A VIRTUAL MACHINE INSTALLED ON MY WIN 7 . I INSTALLED WINXP ON THE VIRTUAL MACHINE AND ITS LIKE HAVING TWO SEPARATE COMPUTERS . I CAN GO BACK AND FORTH AND TRADE FILES FROM ONE TO THE OTHER WITHOUT A PROBLEM .

I DO NOT WORRY ABOUT WINXP BEING DROPPED BY MICROSOFT . PERSONALLY I HAVE HAD NO ISSUES . MY GRANDSON HAS A DELL WITH WIN XP AND ALSO AND WE DONT PLAN TO CHANGE HIS .

I HAVE NEVER USED WINXP SECURITY UPDATING . IT CAUSES MORE PROBLEMS THAN IT HELPS .

I haven't had any trouble at all. I have 7 on my laptop and I installed ZTCC on there. Good luck!

So far so good. But I totally forgot to save my dls for my latest game and the game itself into a separate folder! My beautiful and happy animal zoo is along with the screenshots of it. :gaah_:

And I am suffering food poisoning from my teenage daughter undercooking turkey burgers.

Misery.

I hate when that happens!!! If you're transferring to a new computer, is it by chance still on your old computer? Good luck!

And good luck with the food poisoning!!!

It probably is. I had not thought of that! I'll try accessing it when I am feeling better.
