Dinosaur Digs Combined Realism Hack by VNDragon has been updated. Updated by VND on September 25, 2026: Bundle is repackaged using deflate compression over zstd for wider compatibility, as Windows 11 cannot extract the latter at the time of writing. Added Info Override dll file by VND View File Added Info Override dll File (lang660-AddedInfo-override.dll) Author: VND Credits to Jay and Fern for feedback and improvements made from the original release. Compatibility: All Game Versions Description: This is a .dll file that adds new information/detail to existing messages given to Blue Fang IDs. Unlike the other override .dll file - lang999, this file is not needed for any new mod. The lang does complement LANG--ZBorsato.dll + Dinosaur Digs Combined Realism hack, but can be used independently. Version 1.0, “lang660-PlantEra-override”, was released as part of the aforementioned hack. The file is renamed and hosted separately to allow future additions in the same vein by the author or others in the community. The .dll currently has the following feature(s): - Add geological age range to the long-text tooltip of official land foliage that orignated in the Cretaceous or earlier. This feature was first envisioned and included by P. rex in "No Grass, Please" (NGP) but was never implemented correctly. The text is under a new format shared with the Combined Realism hack, so it is not a 1:1 reproduction of the NGP text. VERY interesting data point. After all, the two versions were packaged almost 6 years apart from each other. I think I have a good explanation just from what you provided. Seems like most of the files except for the two above were compressed using a compression method known as z-standard (zstd). I'm uncertain which setting flag was checked back when I packaged the bundle, as the zstd option should only be available when I create .7z file, not .zip. The error probably came from Explorer not supporting this newer algorithm.

On Saturday I am planning to mow my lawns one last time and do some other gardening' stuff and on Sunday I have lectures with my students. But if I have time I will definitely check it out 😉 Funny thing: I used Windows Explorer when I unzipped your hack before, version 1.26. And then it worked just fine. -

Oh I need to say I have also finished the underwater volcanoes as non hack versions and there are 9 files in the pack as I added a few other things. I am just waiting on Jay to check it.

Yea, so I tested it on my Windows 11 device. In my test case, it returned a 0x80004005 unspecified error message and only extracted the main .ztd & .rtf file. Searched online a bit and there does not seem to be any rhymth or reason aside from Windows Explorer's ability to handle compressed files still being pretty bad. I always recommend others to use a dedicated archiver, especially if you are looking into modding or just combining your .ztds later. Let me know if you notice anything that could be improved upon during gameplay.

Hi, it's Windows 11 and I used Windows system app for unzipping. Maybe I will try with WinRAR :) UPDATE: WinRAR was succesful :) Thanks :) -

@Lichosaurus hi there! Can you provide your operation system and which program you are using to unzip the files? I do want to aim for wide compatibility so that I don't have to maintain troubleshooting for along time or offer multiple zips. Here is me testing the package downloaded from Tek with zero issue.
