The Medium Mega-Tank Workbench by Caddienoah

This workbench is dedicated to all ZT players who love the sea and its creatures. This workbench contains one large salt water tank surrounded by pathways, connecting several islands together. The workbench starts at Jan 1 of Year 1.
There are no extra files needed before using the workbench. There are many possible files from both Zoo Tek Phoenix and Designers Guild that can be used to add other corals, plant life and other animals.
There are some things that should be known about a tank this big. The items being added to the tank or deleted from the tank may, for some, take longer than usual, due to the size of the tank. The game has to work harder to follow commands. Due to the setup of the game, the tank has only one entrance/exit and only needs one tank filter. It can hold many small animals, or a smaller amount of large animals. When I was designing and testing the workbench, I had 12 whale sharks, and in the mixed tank four animals, of four different species. With mixed tanks the water gets dirty quicker, so I had about 10 -12 maintenance people, so one is never far away when the tank filter breaks down, and to cover trash needs throughout the zoo. I also had at least 8 to 10 Marine Biologists assigned to the tank. It never failed that there would be 4 or 5 animals needing the help of one of them. I kept each species in a mixed tank all of the same sex...no babies...less animals to watch for in tank...and less problems between them.

Central Park Workbench by Caddienoah

This workbench is my interpretation of the Central portion of Central Park. I have taken certain liberties in the design...people of New York please forgive...It is very hard to scale down the beauty of such a place...I hope my attempt meets with acceptance. I have included many of the Park's famous landmarks. The Tavern on the Green, Strawberry Fields and the sculpture to John Lennon, the Stage, boat rides on the lake, to name a few.
I must give very special thanks to Dr Rick...He was able to reproduce the "Imagine" sculpture, in the Strawberry Hills area...I am deep in his debt! This is not the first time he has put aside his own work to help another in their need!
The workbench consists of several open and wooded terrains. There are several areas of water. There is near the center of the w/bench a set of tunnel walkways...similar to walkways in that area of Central Park. The Central Park Zoo is missing...so that the builder can build their own.

Savannahjan's Western Workbench by Caddienoah

This workbench's theme came from a conversation I had with Savannahjan about a year or so ago. I'm sure she forgot about it, or if she remembered, she thought I had forgotten...but I didn't! She has been a mentor, critic, and a true friend. I hope she and her spirit will be with Tek for a long time!!!
As I do often in doing the planning of a workbench, I check out the area and it's history. I wasn't surprised to find that Savannahjan comes from a long line of women, who made a dent in the history of the West. She has a great-great-great-great Grandmother, who in her day was a means to be dealt with. She was the first strong-willed women to be made Sheriff, by a landslide. Another of her grandmothers owned one of the largest ranches in the area, raising horses, cattle, and sheep. No one ever tried any rustling, at her expense, they knew they would never get far. It's fascinating to see another strong women from this family as a leader, our own Savannahjan.
The workbench consists of of three areas: the first, a desert prairie...the second, a mountain area...and the last, a grassy prairie.
Each area is connected by a train and track which runs through all three areas.
Only scenery items were used.
The workbench opens at Jan 1 of Year 1.

First place in the 2003 Individuals Halloween Contest.
Very non-traditional but suitably scary. Like something out of a bad horror movie, this zoo is very natural-looking and full of creepy critters. I would actually be afraid to enter this zoo. Be sure to delete the walls blocking guests at the courtyard if you want them to be able to access the entire zoo.
So, Cher, you axe de way to Flat Top Road....wat you wanna be gwine dat way fo? Tis no good, das! You wanna stay vivante? Dat road lead to de bayou an daint noting but bad dare. Dey say unnaturale tings be dareghost memoo and betaille! Strange men do strange tings to dem betaileonly couyon be caught ded in de bayou! Dey put cunja on you, Cher...dye put mondo greegree on you! Dem betaille envie humon flesh! Cho! Dares caimon big as whale in dare! I no gwine dare, my eye! Givun me freesons jes tink about it! Please don go dare, Cher...dey say men go in de bayou, men don come out!

Caddie's Island Retreat Workbench by Caddienoah

While browsing on Pinterest, I found several pictures of tree-covered islands in the middle of lakes. This is my interpretation of those pictures. There is a conifer-covered island in the midst of a lake. At one end of the lake, there is a waterfall where a river empties into the lake. At the other end of the lake, the water flows into the mouth of another river. There is a dockside base-camp for exploring the lake and island. At the upper shore of the lake is a camp set up for my brother, nephew, my son and myself to relax and explore. (In real life, I would very much like to do this, but with all the problems we have had/having with our son, it makes it impossible to do so. So here I dream.)

The Fairy Kingdom of Brandi, the First of Her Name, Workbench by Caddienoah

This workbench is dedicated to Brandi, who has given us so many beautiful pieces of foliage and other objects, to decorate our zoos. She has been here at Zoo Tek Phoenix, both in front and behind the scenes. I owe her much! I hope this workbench is in some small way, a thank you, to one of our amazing Phoenix women.
The workbench consists of a decorated castle entrance...leading to a fully decorated interior castle scene. There are many areas for habitats to be placed. There are many references to the "fairy" theme, that Brandi is known for, along with her prodigious foliage collection. I tried to use a vast sampling of her work in the creation of this workbench. The workbench opens Day 1, Year 1, with $500000 starting cash.

Pukkie's Garden Maze Workbenches by Caddienoah

This workbench is dedicated to one of our favorite Phoenix women, Pukkie. She has been a friend and mentor to me, since I have been at Tek. She is truly an amazing women! We are very lucky here, at Tek, to have such a long list of dedicated, hardworking, and talented women.
The workbench is surrounded by a floral walking maze with guests enjoying the walk. There is a Maze entrance leading to a large complex interior maze design. There are actually two workbenches included, not just one. The first, the interior maze is separate from the exterior of the workbench. The second, the interior maze design is part of the exterior area of the workbench. The Mazes uses Moose Stealing Llama theme items. Pukkie has been the faithful and hardworking leader of the same named club. (One can substitute other objects and statues for the club objects if chosen.) The Workbenches will open Day 1, Year 1, with cash amount set at $500,000.

Ariznana Memorial Park Workbench by Caddienoah

This is a special gift to Tek and its many players. The workbench is dedicated to a beloved member of Tek that passed away, Ariznana. I planned to design a workbench for her. She passed before we could discuss what she would like to have in it. The workbench is based on a real Memorial Park in the city that she lived in. With artistic license I have turned it into a Memorial for her. I hope she likes it.
I am especially grateful to Sea Otter, for all his help and ideas, and to Firehawke for all her help and encouragement, and to all my other friends at Tek for their support.
The workbench consists of a large open park, containing a shopping area, community center/teaching buildings, and church with cemetery, in the front third. There is a large open area in the middle third for amusements, animal habitats, and other buildings. In the back third, there is a skateboard park, a large children's picnic area and carnival, an adult "quiet" picnic area, and some scenic areas ... mini park, zoo, and pool. There is another church with outdoor meeting area in the area too. The Zoo will open on Day1, Year1, with $750000 in cash.
